Needs cloud sync and better export options. Also I don't see my players listed in team on the subs. I don't know why this would be the case. Other features are good. Will update rating once above pts are addressed

I have found this app to be a great touch line coaching tool.

This is a good app. An iPad is on the small side, but younger players will really engage with it. It is easy to set up a field and have the players manipulate the players into place to reinforce the shape you want. Then you can quickly generate an animation to share that reinforces that.

I use this app to go over positions, shape with players before entering the game.

Worth it

Export videos for sharing should be simplified.

I grew up w X’s and O’s on a chalk and white boards. Although I still use the old school method; however, this app appeals to this generation more. The animation helps the visual learners. I would explain and set up a play or a tactic on my white board and would have several lines and arrows. I would look at their face and know that they are confused. I made the play using CoachBoard++ in the animation mode and it clicked with them. I use it from u8 to High School varsity. It is definitely useful.

Great Soccer App! Use it every day!

Simple, efficient, effective & fantastic graphic organizer for planning, organizing & teaching practice sessions & game plans.

There is some really nice groundwork in this app, but it could use a version two upgrade. The team setup is a little wonky and overly restrictive if you are playing with smaller team sizes. Certain player assignments must be made to have named substitutes accessible in game view. Also some “Are you sure?” notices could be helpful with some actions. The reset the field and make substitutes icons are very similar and have resulted in frustrating results for me on more than one occasion. Some things also just haven’t operated as I expected. For example deleting a team player from the A roster also deletes them from the B. But, overall, still a nice team lineup management app. The best I have found. Just wish it was a bit better.

It helps for 7 yr olds to see what I’m talking about!

This is the easiest to learn and use. I’ve tried every app available and this one is the most intuitive and quick to use. I use it to explain tactics during a match to my team. I use this app to animate tactics for practice. I can also save and share the animations with coaches and teammates.

Works for both my 13 yo and 8 yo

Amazing tool to teach tactics and set pieces

I love this tool and have used for many years. Recently upgraded to paid, and well worth it! I send out pre-match screenshots, show animated motion on the sidelines...really great! One enhancement I'd like to see...and hopefully it's just user error ;) It seems impossible to edit and/or move a drawn line after placing it on the diagram. I end up spending extra time recreating my diagrams just to make small edits.

Very practical yet many different and useful features

I have several new coaches and this app has been great for setting up practice fields. It would be helpful if I could sync between devices. That option may be there but I haven’t found it. Also an erase feature so you could delete several steps back with out erasing everything would be nice.

Woooo! What a great app! There is so much you can create with it. There are several tools available to create and set plays, the field equipment provided is on point, exactly what most coaches use in the field. I personally like that frame by frame video generator, this better communicate to your players what you want them to work on! It's very easy to use and it's always in my pocket! Well done! I have not downloaded in my iPad, but will do that, and I hope it works just as good.

I would have giving it 5 stars but it had a few minor hiccups. First, when I save line ups or set pieces the colour of my players change. Also when I save animations, I wish there was a way to send those to coaches and parents to clearly explain our shape. Other than those two things, it's a fantastic app and would recommend it to any coach.

Great app. Not to complicated & great tool

This tool allows for outstanding interactive plays that are built based on coaching style and player-centric activities. I coach Youth Soccer and it helps me develop drills in a manner that is easily accessible for set up and execution. The partnering app also is a must as the two function perfectly together. I use this app to manage my recreational team. It works fairly well but a few simple improvements would make it awesome.

Great app but....how do I sync my iPhone and ipad?

Great app ! All tools are there and more convenient than using a regular whiteboard and having to deal with markers. Plus you can save your plays and past lineups. I coach u10 boys and seems to register better with my players. Highly recommend !

Easy to use. Easy to customize. Not all that fancy but it works on the field with my players.

Great for planning a game (hiding the players that are not as talented with good players beside them) You can save boards in the filing system. I coach U10 so it was nice to be able to change the amount of players per side. I was inspired enough to write a review.

Very simple to use: easy to focus on drawing tactics rather than trying to work out how to use the app. Also, I had a technical issue: contacted the developer and received helpful, prompt support.

Great app. I use it often to show my u9 team how to set up for set plays and to have them see why passing to space is more effective. Can't wait for moving from screen to screen update. Great job!
